Authentic Australian Labradoodles are favored for their non-shedding and allergy friendly coats, temperament, loyalty and intelligence.
You may have seen a National Geographics program featuring Beverley Manners of Rutland Manor. She is the co-founder of this breed. This breed was developed in Australia over the past two decades. Some of the reasons it is one of the fastest growing breeds are listed below.
Coats should be non shedding and allergy friendly.
Intelligence that makes training easier.
Loyalty that leads to attentiveness, a desired trait in family and helper dogs.
With fleece coats there is little maintenance. Wool coats have a bit more maintenance. Hair coats practically no maintanance but will shed.
They tend to be odor free.
